Davao Bloggers Society celebrated its 5th Annual Acquaintance Party last October 8, 2016. It was held at Coco's South Bistro in F. Torres Street Davao City.
It was open to all interested to join the party yet all Davao Bloggers Society members are encouraged to join.
Dinner was served and we enjoyed the delectable meal set.
During the said event, we played BINGO but not the usual BINGO with numbers from 1 to 75 and someone will draw numbers. It still has rows B-I-N-G-O and five columns below it (with the usual FREE in between), and instead of numbers what was written on the columns are a characteristic or physical appearance of a person during the night e.g. person with tattoo, someone who loves painting, someone wearing pink. And if someone meets the said characteristic or physical appearance, we wrote their name in that column until all 24 items will be filled up and you will have to literally shout "bingo" or else you won't be declared winner! Haha. This is a fun way of knowing people during the said celebration.
We also played "Two Pic One Word", "Two Pic, One Idiom" and an IQ contest. Our group won for the loudest group however never as winners for any of the said games.
Elected DBS officers take oath during the event that they will to do their best to perform their duties assigned to them and we, as members, fully believed in their capacity to lead the organization.
I had fun and went home with new acquaintances in the person of the Davao Bloggers Society members. I am grateful for being part of the Davao Bloggers Society.
