I am a simple person who loves to wander, travel, and most of all loves to familiarize the yet unfamiliar then put everything into writing to share to those wanted to do the same.

Masters Dragon Peak is approximately 20 minutes away from home via motorcycle, so I visited the place and experienced sailing away in a big ship built on top of a mountain.

If you're visiting from Cebu City, this is 74.6km away from SM City Cebu and roughly about a 2-hour ride.

HOW TO GET THERE

From North Bus Terminal located at the back of SM City Cebu ride a bus with routes of Bogo, Lambusan, Hagnaya, or Daan Bantayan via Maya or Kawit; any buses except routes to Tuburan or Tabuelan because it will make a turn before reaching the destination.

Ask to drop you off at Barangay Laaw in Borbon where Masters Dragon Peak will be reached. Hire a habal-habal driver to bring you to the Masters Dragon Peak that will only take less than 5 minutes.

Bus fare (one way)

Php150-Php180

Habal-habal (one way)

Php50-Php100

Entrance fee

Php99

No worries about commuting as when you will be dropped off from the bus, you will then see the habal-habal drivers waiting for you to hire them and destination is immediately reached once your habal-habal ride is done. 😀

But if you are travelling with your own car or motorcycle like I did, you can search on Google Maps Masters Dragon Peak and should show you the one located in Bili, Borbon, Cebu. But this is a bit tricky because the spot from the municipal road no longer show you road trace going directly to the area. But I used my tip in any of my travel, #AskTheLocals. 😁

Mini buses can get inside until their parking spaces but I doubt big buses can be accommodated but a 100 meter walk is fine from the barangay road where big buses can still fit.

By the way if you wonder why the place is named with a Dragon in it, it is because the owner grows a lot of Dragon fruits around the area. I did not see a dragon fruit sold inside maybe because not all stores were opened at that time; maybe they are selling some but not inside the place or the store is closed during my stay.

Quoting Captain Jack Sparrow, "Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate.", experiences are also a treasure so, make some moments happen here at Masters Dragon Peak.

the barko is there oh, sa taas ng mountain. Haha

Last December 2, 2018, Cebu Zenfans gathered as ASUS shared something new in store for all that will be launched at a later date which is today, December 11, 2018.

This is about a new Max series with Max Performance, Max Battery, and Max Durability - the talk of the town, Zenfone Max Pro M2.

We get to have a first hand experience of the new ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 during the gathering and it personally makes me think of upgrading my phone now from my current ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie but I have to consider the overall specs and the price. As of writing this part, ASUS is yet to announce the price and the full specs of the new Zenfone Max Pro M2; I am currently watching the livestream of the official launch of Zenfone Max Pro M2 (https://www.facebook.com/ASUSph/videos/633475873739725/).

People want the best. And the best means you have the maximum capability possible. That is why this Zenfone Max Pro M2 will surely be a hit.

Never did ASUS fail its fans because ASUS always been thinking about what is best for the people. Not just creating a phone to create a phone but because ASUS believes that people is wanting something new.

ASUS Philippines Country Manager George Su now announces via livesream the offers for the new Zenfone Max Pro M2 which comes in two variants - the 4Gb/64Gb and the 6Gb/64Gb (Ram/Internal Storage).

The Zenfone Max Pro M2 4Gb/64Gb variant will be available exclusively on Lazada (https://www.lazada.com.ph/shop/asus-zenfone-store) and Shoppee (https://shopee.ph/asusphilippines) for just Php12,995. Pre-order starts today December 11, 2018 for this variant.

While the other variant, Zenfone Max Pro M2 6Gb/64Gb, will be available starting December 15, 2018 (Saturday) in all ASUS and Zenfone concept stores. Only at an unbelievable, affordable price which will be ASUS Christmas gift to all of us at Php14,995.

So let us #ReimagineTheMax today!

My weekend was full of first time when ASUS sponsored a two-day event last August 25 and 26, 2018.

August 25, 2018. PixelMaster Master Class.
Sir Ricky Ladia, a professional photographer, hosted the photoseminar. He discussed about what one should prepare before travelling and what to do during your trip. He shows stunning photos he captured from different places and gives tips on how to make the photo one of a kind. Before the photoseminar ended, Sir Ricky was asked questions about photography from what photoeditor to use to what circumstance you should take risk when capturing photos.

This day, I get to meet for the first time ASUS folks - Miss Jaira Tuazon, Miss Paula Dizon, Miss Joanacel and Sir Francis Garcia. I also get to meet again my fellow Dr. Zens from the Visayas- Pabz and Elle, and of course, Zenfans from the Queen City of the South. Ooooppps, I almost forgot the ever cutest, Zenny!

I can see that all participants were listening during the talk as most of them will have to use what they learn from this day's PixelMaster Master Class as tomorrow will be a photowalk in Sirao Flower Farm and in Cebu Yacht Club where everyone is challenge to capture astonishing memories by photograph on the said places.

August 26, 2018. Photowalk. Sirao Flower Farm and Cebu Yacht Club.
This was my first time to attend a photowalk, so instead of 12:30PM call time, I went to SM City Cebu before the mall opens at 10:00AM. I made sure my phone and my powerbank's batteries were full as I was anticipating capturing loads of photos during the photowalk.

Sirao Flower Farm. The area was extended compared to the smaller view of the place when we went there last 2016. More types of flower were seen but some flowers were yet to bloom. Nevertheless, Zenfans captured astounding photos from the people around, design of the place, and of course the blooming flowers of Sirao Flower Farm.

Cebu Yacht Club. Another first time. I saw yachts in Davao but I haven't gone yachting. I thought we will just see some yachts and go inside to take photos but I did not expect that we will go cruising on a yacht. I never thought I could go yachting my entire life. Haha!

"Music is played for love, cruisin' is made for love. I love it when we're cruisin' together." I whisphered to myself feeling I was with someone that time. Lol!

Zenfans were amazed with every single photo they take that they don't even have to edit it because, together with their talent to shoot, the photos captured using their Zenfone phone were already a stunner.

Thank you, ASUS Philippines, for sponsoring this two-day fruitful (PixelMaster Master Class) and fun (Photowalk) event here in Cebu. Hopefully, more of this in the future so that other Zenfans, too, can join and enjoy together with their loved ASUS Zenfone phones.

I was fortunate to have a hands on experience with one of the newest offers from ASUS - the Zenfone Max M1. (See specs here: ASUS Zenfone Max M1

Me and my friend, Dan, agreed to try one of Compostela's  newly opened resort - the Paradise Hills Mountain Resort located at Brgy. Buluang, Compostela, Cebu and capture photos there for this blog using the Zenfone Max M1. I also wanted to see for myself if Zenfone Max M1 is worth its tagline - the Battery King.

Before I left home, the Zenfone Max M1 was fully charged. Paradise Hills Mountain Resort is 2 hours away from home via bus. While in the bus, I checked on my email, opened my social media accounts, chatted friends, and watched the series I'm hooked right now on YouTube probably what one do when on a bus. When I arrived at Liloan where I met my friend, I only consumed 6% of the Zenfone Max M1's battery life. Amazing it is when I get to do more but only consumed less.

I arrived around 10 am at my friend's place in Liloan then stayed for awhile to check on how to get to Paradise Hills Mountain Resort.

Paradise Hills Mountain Resort Canteen. Only junk food and drinks (liquors, water, colas) are available

My friend, Dan, dreams of becoming a professional photographer someday. All photos in this blog(aside from the map of course) was actually taken by Dan. All credit goes to Dan.

Dan and Myself

The only photo I took during our stay as Dan is afraid to carry the phone inside the pool. Hehe!

It was Dan's first time to use an ASUS phone and was astonished by the photos he captured using the Zenfone Max M1. "Handy kay siya boss sah, simple ra kaayo tanawon pero payter diay kaayog specs. Nindot pa gyud kaayog kuha ang mga pictures nato oh. Tigumon nako ako allowance palit ani." he said.

Dan praised how the Zenfone Max M1 captured our stay in Paradise Hills Mountain Resort and planned to create his own blog or vlog site soon and will be  partnering with an ASUS phone for his adventures in the future. While I was dumbfounded too when I went home as I was left with 27% battery life inspite using the Zenfone Max M1 the whole day.

ASUS masters producing world-class phones I may say. World-class indeed yet has an affordable price tag. The Zenfone Max M1 only costs Php 8, 995.
